The most beautiful Italian fountains

It may be silly to visit such a thing, but fountains in Italy are too popular to ignore. Their distinctive designs and history make them worthy of our visit. I do hear that they are in trouble when drought hit Rome, but I bet they are still pretty to look at even without the water.

Which ones do you think are the must-see fountains in Italy?

It seems the most popular one is Trevi Fountain in Rome. The Bernini Fountains are also at the top of the list. I would also love to see Fontana delle Tartarughe. (The Turtle Fountain).

Barcaccia Fountain in Rome is also quite popular for featuring a boat in the middle of it. Some other fountains I’d love to visit are the fountain of Neptune and Fountain of the 99 Spouts. The last one is especially intriguing for having 99 heads pouring out the water!
