Spring Time in Italy

#1

It is April and in countries in the Northern Hemisphere, we know what it means when Spring warms up the weather after the previous months of winter. Do you, in Italy, often have April Showers? Is it a big time expectation for Italy’s well-known vineyards, plantation, agriculture and forestry? Or is it generally sunny at springtime in Italy?

How about sports/championship events, festivals and concerts in the months of April? I read that Bob Dylan will/has had a concert in Rome on the 4th of April?

I imagine it depends where exactly you are in Italy. The north and south vary quite a bit in terms of climate. The north is inland and mountainous while central and southern areas are coastal. I also think that the east coast is wetter than the west coast.
